Who is eligible to register
Anyone who has an interest in the Business Improvement District.
Who is eligible to vote
Anyone whose business falls within the proposed BID area and whose rateable value is £5,000 or over. However, we still want to hear from you and would be interested in hearing about your project ideas.
Voter Information
A BID will only proceed if a majority of businesses vote in favour of the final BID proposal at a formal ballot to be held during February 2009. Each eligible business is entitled to a vote with the named voter being the person who is responsible for payment of the non-domestic rates. This is usually the business owner or the property manager if the premises are part of a chain.
