Maritime View Falmouth is a spacious Victorian townhouse dating back to 1868 and is set in a wonderful location. We're just a few minutes walk from Falmouth town centre, Maritime Museum and all the nearby award-winning attractions and beaches.
There are three bedrooms, two boasting original decorative fireplaces, front elevation has views of the harbour and Events Square, and all with a maritime theme, including Coxswain’s Cabin (twin room) with patio windows opening on to a roof terrace with table and chairs, Admiral’s Cabin and Bosun’s Locker (both first floor doubles) with Vi-Spring double mattresses.
The ground floor is made up of a well equipped kitchen and an open plan sitting room and dining area with original decorative fireplace. Sit and relax at the end of the day either on one of three garden terraces, including patio located behind the house with its barbecue area or take a Cornish cream tea on the front terrace with original Victorian seating area.
The historic Falmouth harbour, one of deepest in the world and the scene of the start of many round the world adventures and tall ships race, is situated just down the road from Maritime View.
Falmouth’s streets and beaches will keep you occupied for hours. The town’s old harbour-side pubs, restaurants, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is sited a short walk from Maritime View and has superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Take the passenger ferry from Falmouth. For further a field adventures, the local train station is just 5 minutes walk away from Maritime View.
