A stone’s throw from Gyllyngvase Beach! Our family and pet friendly facilities mean that our guests are able to use the beach at various times of the year.
We have a selection of room types to cater for most requirements, and are able to offer accommodation on the ground floor for those who need it. Many of the rooms have beach or sea views and all have en-suite facilities and have flat screen TVs with DVD incorporated.
San Remo has both a guest lounge and stunning sun terrace to relax and take in the beach views. The beach is life-guarded in the summer season and is family-friendly. Paddle boarding, kayaking, wind-surfing and beach volleyball are some of the sports practiced here. The beach cafe is a good place to spend a relaxing evening overlooking the beach.
The South West Coast Path means our visitors do not need a car to explore the nearby coastline. Falmouth’s shops and harbour are a 10 minute walk away and ferries to Truro, St Mawes and the Helford depart at regular intervals from there. Falmouth Town rail station is a short walk, and there are local bus stops to take visitors to the town centre and from there to the rest of Cornwall.
The National Maritime Museum, Princess Pavilion and Pendennis Castle are other nearby points of interest. Neighbouring hotels are popular wedding venues, and the San Remo is able to offer a bed and breakfast alternative for wedding guests.
Our breakfast menu caters for most dietary requirements and can be continental or full English. We endeavour to locally source our ingredients, and all packaging is recycled where possible. Wi-fi is available throughout the guesthouse. Guests are free to come and go as they please and Jenny and Steve are able to give advice on local events and attractions as well as other information visitors may need such as restaurants and specific events.
Visitors will experience a warm and friendly stay at San Remo and many guests come back time after time. All major credit cards accepted except American Express.
