Our Helford River Cruise is an hour half cruise in a lovely open top 12 seater Cygnus, a traditional open top Cornish boat. So if you fancy sitting back and relaxing or have expensive cameras then this might be for you! We take you along to the mouth of the Helford River past Glendurgan and Trebah and then back down to the creeks including Frenchman’s Creek where we see a shipwreck, possibly the inspiration for her novel ‘Frenchman’s Creek’, an abundance of birdlife including herons, egrets, kingfishers, cormorants and the oyster farming.

With a bespoke commentary you can enjoy learning the tales of the stunning river, whilst sitting back and enjoying stunning scenery and wildlife of the beautiful part of Cornwall.  We will cruise past the Royal Duchy Oyster Farm on Port Navas Creek and along Polwheveral Creek where oyster farming started in 1506!
