You will be taught everything you need to turn your tatty old furniture finds into something treasured and admired. Or you can make something from scratch to take home with you. We run weekend ‘Make A Footstool’ courses, where everything is supplied and you are taught how to make a footstool from the bare frame up, using only traditional materials and techniques.

So whether you have something you wish to transform or you want to make something to keep for yourself or as a lovely gift, we will be able to help you.

Our weekend and 5 day ‘Bring Your Own Project’ courses and our footstool courses are all run regularly each month so please contact us for availability.  All courses are open to all abilities so don’t worry if you’re new to this wonderful world of restoration.

Lunch, afternoon tea and a celebratory drink at the end of your course are all provided so you just need to bring yourself and a smile. It is our aim that you not only learn lots of new skills but have fun and make some new friends too.

And Bear, the studio dog is always on hand to help but she’s a dog so don’t expect much from her!
