The Princess Pavilion, Falmouth is a year-round live music venue and theatre complex offering a wide programme of excellent entertainment, combined with the well-known and stunning Gyllyngdune Gardens.
The Princess Pavilion and Gyllyngdune Gardens have recently been taken over by Falmouth Town Council, offering a great opportunity for this asset to continue to be a part of the Falmouth community. This is an exciting long term project that has received a lot of interest and is considered a jewel in the town’s crown.
Now that the ownership of the pavilions and Gyllyndune Gardens has finally been transferred from leisure company GLL to the town council, it can be run as an asset for the town, and the council hope to get things up and running as soon as possible.
Overlooking Falmouth Bay, the Pavilions is nestled in the spectacular Gyllyngdune Gardens, where you’ll find stunning features such as an Edwardian bandstand, a working glasshouse and a children’s play area along with many exotic plants from all over the globe. The gardens are now open to the public and are maintained by Falmouth Town Council, who work hard to ensure they are a delight for anyone to visit.
By summertime the council aim to re-open the cafe, offering delicious cakes and drinks. So if you are looking for a day out immersing yourself in the tropical paradise of Gyllyngdune Gardens followed by a relaxing sit-down, drink and a bite to eat, then the pavilions and their gardens are the perfect option.
*The gardens are free to visit, have disability access and public toilets.
