Falmouth’s First Friday – Friday 6th February

Returning for another month, February’s event brings a fresh wave of venues, live entertainment, and unforgettable experiences. Sea Shanty Fundraiser – Friday 20th February

If you can’t wait until June to hear the rousing sounds of sea shanties, Princess Pavilion has something special in store. St Piran’s Day Parade – Thursday 5th March

Falmouth proudly celebrates its Cornish heritage with the annual St Piran’s Day Parade. Hundreds of schoolchildren will fill the streets with colour and cheer as they honour Cornwall’s patron saint, St Piran. Starting from The Moor, the parade will wind through town via Prince of Wales Pier before concluding at King Charles the Martyr Church—a joyful tradition that brings the whole community together.

Falmouth’s First Fridays- Friday 6th March

March is the last month of Falmouth’s First Fridays. Head into town after five on the final date of this initiative to explore a brand new collection of participating venues, which will be announced at mid-February here. The final date of this event will bring together another host of fantastic offers, once again highlighting Falmouth as a truly unforgettable destination after dark.

Falmouth International Arts Fest (FIA Fest) – Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th March

Bringing a selection of talented performances to Falmouth, FIAFest returns with an assortment of shows and events scheduled at The Poly and Princess Pavillion. From comedy to musical throwbacks and gameshows, there is something to satisfy every taste.

St Nazaire Memorial Service – Sunday 8th March

A significant date in Falmouth’s military history, the St Nazaire Memorial Parade assembles on the Moor. Making its way to the Prince of Wales Pier, the procession of serving military personnel, veterans and dignitaries, will gather for a service to commemorate the bravery of those who lost their lives in Operation Chariot, during the second world war. A poignant reminder of the heroic sacrifices made by many during WWII.

Run Falmouth – Sunday 15th March

Join Run Falmouth for their annual Falmouth Half Marathon. Setting off from Princess Pavilion, the route loops around the headland and past the beaches to take in the stunning coastal views along the way. A fantastic and challenging race in a scenic location, the event will be a great way to test your resilience and fitness whilst raising money for an excellent cause.

Falmouth Spring Clean – Wednesday 25th March

With Spring officially in the air, Falmouth’s fantastic volunteers, businesses and community partners come together to get involved in the town’s annual Spring Clean, a day of teamwork that will see priority areas identified and action taken to enhance the visual impact of Falmouth for visitors and locals alike. From power-washing pavements, brightening up shopfronts, regenerating green spaces, tackling graffiti, or joining a beach clean – every pair of hands counts.

Spring Flower Show – Saturday 21st to Sunday 22nd March

Falmouth Pride – Saturday 25th April

Falmouth bursts into a rainbow of celebration for Falmouth Pride! From 10am, join the radiant parade as it winds its way from The Moor to Events Square, filling the streets with colour, music, and joy. Everyone is welcome, come march, cheer, and soak up the electric atmosphere as the town unites in a show of love, pride and solidarity.

Park Live – Sunday 26th April

Hosted by Source FM, this much-loved and totally free community festival takes place on the last Sunday of every month from spring through autumn. Expect a day filled with live music, delicious food, and a variety of stalls- a relaxing way to spend a Sunday with friends and family.

MAY

Race For Life: 10k and 5k – Sunday 10th May

Adorn your running shoes and head for Gyllyngvase Beach carpark for the Race For Life 10k, raising money for Cancer Research. The race promises to be a time-chipped event, offering challenge without pressure. Falmouth Observation Wheel – Saturday 1st to Sunday 30th August

As the summer holidays get underway, take in the breathtaking sights of Falmouth from above with the Falmouth Observation Wheel. Running throughout August on Events Square, this spectacular attraction offers 360° panoramic views across the water and town, giving visitors a unique chance to experience Falmouth from a rarely seen aerial perspective. Organised by

the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the Observation Wheel is the perfect way to add a little adventure to your summer and see the harbour in a whole new light.

Falmouth Week – Friday 7th to Sunday 16th August

Another annual favourite in Falmouth’s events calendar, Falmouth Week returns, offering ten days of live music, family friendly entertainment and an exciting aerial display. This free, town-wide celebration has its origins as a local sailing regatta dating back as far as 1837. Today, Falmouth Week has evolved into one of the major sailing competitions in the South West as well as an opportunity for sailors and landlubbers alike to experience a host of daytime and evening activities throughout the town.
