The Richard Mille Cup, aims to recreate some of the style of racing large yachts in British waters, is due to return next year, with a similar programme in 2024.

The event has been created out of a passion for classic yachts of beauty, great design and fine workmanship, for a love of competition and to include a new exciting event. At the heart of this race is a desire to create a challenging sporting event which pushes competitors across a range of coastal and offshore races, With all of the vessels built or designed before 1940, the Richard Mille Cup will recreate the spectacle, sporting values and elegance of the regatta circuits of the pre-war years.

The racing will begin on Sunday 2 June, 2024 with a welcome for yachts in Falmouth, Cornwall. There will then be three days of racing in and around Falmouth with a prize-giving on 5 June, before the yachts race up the coast to Dartmouth on 6 June.

The feedback was so good from the clubs involved and the sailors from last year that they decided to repeat the event as it was in 2023!
