Falmouth University
Teaching future facing sustainability
Falmouth University educates future global innovators, business leaders, and entrepreneurs. The university influence students through its actions, through the curriculum, and through the stewardship of the physical environment. Therefore, the university is taking bold action and putting environmental issues at the forefront of learning and teaching. For example, two of the most polluting industries are construction and fashion, so the Architecture degree has banned the use of concrete in students’ projects and the Fashion and Textiles Institute puts sustainable practice at the heart of its work.
The university’s Sustainable Product Design BA, Sustainable Tourism BA and Sustainable Events Management MA are focusing on finding real solutions to real-world challenges.
