Tevi – University of Exeter

Tevi (Cornish for ‘grow’) is a unique and exciting venture that aims to do two things simultaneously; create economic and environmental growth in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The initiative, set to continue until December 2022, provides small and medium-sized enterprises across the county with expert consultation, opportunities for recognition and certification, and grant funding.

The £4.37 project supports enterprises in becoming more efficient with their natural resource use and minimising their waste in smart and innovative ways as part of the global transition towards a circular economy. The work is led by the University of Exeter, and is delivered in partnership with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Cornwall Council and the Cornwall Development Company. It also assists innovation with strategic resources and research, such as the region’s first Circular Jobs Monitor, a dedicated Electric Vehicle Tool, and bespoke environmental intelligence platform.
