LoveFalmouth Shopper Card – Terms & Conditions
1. The Scheme
1.1 The LoveFalmouth Shopper Card scheme is operated by Falmouth BID, The Old Post Office Building, The Moor, Falmouth TR11 3QA.
1.2 The scheme is free to enter and open to all. No purchase is necessary to obtain a card.
1.3 By participating in the scheme, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Collecting Stamps
2.1 LoveFalmouth Shopper Cards are available free of charge from any participating business.
2.2 Participants will receive one stamp on their card for each transaction of £5 or more made at a participating business.
2.3 Each participating business may only stamp a customer’s card once per day, regardless of the number of transactions made.
2.4 Each card has space for 10 stamps. Once all 10 stamps have been collected, the card is considered complete and eligible for entry into the monthly prize draw.
2.5 Participants may complete and submit as many cards as they wish each month.
3. Entering the Prize Draw
3.1 To enter the monthly prize draw, participants must complete all 10 stamp spaces on their card, fill in their full name and contact number on the reverse, and return it to Falmouth BID by one of the methods listed in section 4.
3.2 Completed cards must be received by Falmouth BID no later than 23:59 on the 9th of each month to be included in that month’s draw.
3.3 Any completed cards received after this deadline will automatically be entered into the following month’s draw.
3.4 There is no limit on the number of completed cards a participant may submit in any one month.
4. Returning Your Completed Card
4.1 Completed cards may be returned by post or drop-off to: Falmouth BID, The Old Post Office Building, The Moor, Falmouth TR11 3QA. Please ensure you check the opening times of Information Services (9.30am-4pm from Monday to Friday).
4.2 Falmouth BID accepts no responsibility for cards lost or delayed in the post.
5. The Prize Draw
5.1 The prize draw will take place on the 10th of each month.
5.2 Two winners will be selected at random from all eligible completed cards received by the deadline.
5.3 The prizes are as follows: 1st prize – £75 in LoveFalmouth vouchers; 2nd prize – £50 in LoveFalmouth vouchers.
5.4 Winners will be notified by phone within seven days of the draw date using the contact details provided on their card.
5.5 If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days of notification, Falmouth BID reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6. The Prizes
6.1 Prizes are issued as LoveFalmouth vouchers in £5 denominations, redeemable at participating businesses only.
6.2 Vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
6.3 Each £5 voucher is redeemable in a single transaction at a participating business. Vouchers cannot be split within a single transaction.
6.4 Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6.5 Falmouth BID reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances make this necessary.
7. General
7.1 Falmouth BID employees and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
7.2 Falmouth BID reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the scheme at any time. Any changes will be communicated via falmouth.co.uk.
7.3 Falmouth BID reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it reasonably suspects to have been fraudulently obtained or tampered with.
7.4 The decision of Falmouth BID in relation to all matters concerning the scheme and prize draw is final.
7.5 Personal data provided on completed cards will be used solely for the purposes of administering the prize draw and will not be shared with third parties. For full details, please refer to Falmouth BID’s Privacy Policy at falmouth.co.uk.
7.6 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
