Street Rangers

The Street Rangers scheme provides both a strong visual presence and vital new business engagement service for Falmouth.

The Street Rangers are all security trained and accredited and play a key role in the Town Team’s commitment to providing a safer environment.

Furthermore, they are a crucial support link to the business community.

Falmouth’s Street Rangers operate across the town each week visiting businesses, liaising with the Police and sharing best practice with other safety partners. They also work with the business community on expanding the Disc crime reporting system. Find out more about Disc here.

The visibility of the uniformed patrols provides reassurance that Falmouth is a safe and welcoming environment for those who visit, live, and work here. The Street Rangers are on-hand to make residents, employees and visitors feel welcomed and help support the local Police force in deterring low-level crime.

Being equipped with town-link radios means the Street Rangers are immediately available when on-shift and ensures effective communication between all safety partners.
