Terrific Cornish towns

On any visit to Falmouth do plan in some time to visit some of the other Cornish towns and villages that make Cornwall well, Cornwall. Here are a few selected gems:
Truro
The City has an abundance of charm, history, shopping and relaxation for every visitor with a lovely mix of specialist shops and high street stores. Indulge in the wonderful aromas wafting out from the restaurants and cafes; take a walk through the ‘specialist quarter’ of Kenwyn Street, Little Castle Street and River Street. Be sure to pay a visit to the Cathedral or the Royal Cornwall Museum in River Street.

Quentissentially Cornish, with narrow lanes tumbling down towards the sea, great family and surf beaches, art galleries, cafes galore, a picturesque harbour, oh and the Tate St Ives!

Mousehole
‘The loveliest village in England’ as the poet Dylan Thomas coined it, impossibly narrow streets winding down to the sheltered harbour with its array of fishing boats. While you’re there, learn all about The Mousehole Cat!

Padstow
The town that put Cornwall on the food map. Stroll along the beautiful Camel Estuary while eyeing up the boats in the colourful harbour. Follow that up with a great meal in one of the many fine cafes and restaurants.
