Falmouth is home to a thriving mix of independent businesses, from cosy pubs and stylish cocktail bars to family-friendly restaurants, live music venues, and creative spaces. Each offers something unique, and together they create a lively, welcoming, and diverse night-time scene that has something for everyone.

Local businesses are offering exclusive deals, special menus and events for Falmouth’s First Fridays. An initiative that began in October and will continue on the first Friday of every month through to March, giving you an extra reason to head into town after 5pm.

Participating venues for the 5th December:

  • Pysk – Cornish fish chowder and sourdough plus a glass of wine for £12.
  • The Shed – Extended happy hour from 5-7pm with ANY two drinks for the price of one.
  • Boathouse – Loaded fries and a pint or glass of win for £10.
  • Games Room – Happy hour from 5-7pm with 20p off all pints.
  • The Orgia – Large glass of wine for £7, mulled wine for £5 and a cheeseboard for £10.
  • Pennycomequick – Two mulled wines for £8.
  • Pocketful of Stones – Spend over £10 in the store to be entered into the monthly raffle to win a free tasting experience and 700ml bottle of spirit.
  • Chain Locker – Buy one Tarquins and get one half price PLUS £1 off St Austell brewery drinks.
  • Fives Cyderhouse – £12.50 for all pizzas and £5 pints & £5 house doubles.
  • Kernowine – Two cocktails for £15.
  • Mayas – Drop in Christmas card printing.
  • Royal Cornwall Yacht Club – Happy hour with 20% off all drinks.
  • Windjammer – Two of the same cocktails for £10.
  • Merchants Manor – £5 per drink including house glass of wine, prosecco, pint or selected cocktails.
  • Mangos – First 50 games free from 5-7pm.
  • Harbour Lights – Small calamari & chips with a glass of wine for £15.
  • Kona – A tutored rum tasting with samples from all over the Caribbean. £15 a ticket for 6 samples. Add a bar snacks platter for £10.
  • The Poly – 10% discount on ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ film screening with code ‘FirstFriday’ plus 2 cocktails for £15.
  • Dizzy – Late night shopping until 7pm with special spin the wheel to win a Dizzy discount.
  • Grapes – 2 bottles of larger for £6.50
