Pendennis Shipyard has one of the world’s leading custom superyacht build and refit facilities with a heritage spanning 25 years, including 200 refit projects and 30 custom new build yachts.
Pendennis is a major employer in Cornwall, with 360 staff spread across its Falmouth base and its two international outposts, one in Palma, Majorca, and one in Auckland, New Zealand. 17 years ago Pendennis launched an apprenticeship scheme, which takes on seven young people at a time, and trains them in a technical trade – from fabrication to engineering, joinery to interior design – over four years.
