Falmouth’s Christmas Calendar 2025

With Christmas just around the corner, Falmouth is preparing for a truly magical season filled with festive entertainment, music, and crafts. Whether you’re searching for a last-minute gift, to be surrounded by Christmas spirit, or seasonal fun for the whole family, our town offers something for everyone.

Falmouth Lights Switch On – Thursday 27th November

Kicking off the celebrations, Falmouth will be switching on its Christmas lights with a community focussed event. As crowds gather on The Moor, they can look forward to an evening of live entertainment, beginning with a performance from Sing Choir, followed by a series of local primary school performances and ending with Falmouth favourites, The Oggymen.

Watch the much-loved Lantern Parade make its way through town, setting off at 5:30pm from Events Square and arriving at The Moor around 6:10pm. Leading the procession will be the rich, rolling rhythms of Kernow Pipes and Drums, joined by crowd-favourites, Betty Stoggs and Santa Claus riding their tandem bike. Adding to the spectacle, local dance schools will bring energy to the parade, and the infamous Falmouth Marine Band will bring up the rear, making this a truly joyful start to the year’s Christmas celebrations.

Following tradition, Falmouth’s Christmas lights will be illuminated by a worthy individual, group or organisation nominated by the local community at 7pm.
