This hotel is a world unto itself. Nestled in magical, subtropical gardens, a stone’s throw from their privately owned beach, the newly refurbished Hotel Meudon is a touch of secluded, Cornish paradise.

Lose yourself in the winding footpaths of the dramatic and stunning valley gardens, full of giant plant life from Cornwall and around the globe, and see how many species of plant, flower and tree you can name. When you reach the far end of the gardens you will discover the beautiful, private beach, Bream Cove, perfect for relaxing (or more adventurous) days beside some of the cleanest and most sheltered waters in Cornwall. The cove also offers walkers direct access to the South West Coast Path and the Rosemullion Headland; a land of ancient communities, woodland and unparalleled views across The Helford.

The full hotel refurbishment was undertaken in 2021with style and harmony in mind. The design incorporated a combination of colour, geometric patterns and curves that is both stylish and eye-catching, whilst at the same time in sympathy with the beauty of the outside surroundings. Inside, you’ll find light, airy accommodation that maximises the famous Cornish sunlight, with tastefully designed interior décor and furnishings selected with style, comfort and luxury in mind.

Restaurant Meudon:

With Cornwall’s abundance of independent growers and producers supplying the restaurant, the menus are designed to reflect the wide range of the local region’s renowned delicious, fresh produce and the garden room restaurant is a beautiful space to feel immersed in a leafy sanctuary. With innovative dishes that accentuate the quality of the ingredients, natural flavours take centre stage offering a dining experience like no other.

Freddie’s Bar:

Our in-house originals are some of the best cocktails in Cornwall, featuring only premium spirits. Locally sourced artisan gins and wondrous whiskies, served by the team straight to your table, are the perfect way to kick start, or wrap up, a magical evening in the chic and stylish Freddie’s Bar.
