St Mawes Ferry

One of Cornwall’s iconic boat trips, the St Mawes Ferry makes the crossing from Falmouth to St Mawes 364 days a year. The 20 minute journey takes in the world-class scenery of the Carrick Roads which includes two historic castles and a wealth of marine life in Falmouth Bay.

The ferry takes 162,000 passengers on a 2.8 mile journey every year, saving them what would be a 29 mile journey by road.

Three boats make up the fleet of ferries that sail from Falmouth to St Mawes; Duchess of Cornwall, May Queen and Queen of Falmouth. Dogs are welcome on leads.
