Cycling around Falmouth

Falmouth has a myriad of creekside paths, bridleways and lanes waiting to be explored. We've made it easy for you, with a series of cycling trails across Cornwall available for download. All are trails on the Cornish Way, part of the Sustrans ‘National Cycle Network' and developed by the Countryside Service.

Cycling and trains
All train companies in Cornwall can carry bicycles, but only on certain types of train. You should always check with the train operator before travelling. Information is also available online at www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk or by calling 08457 000 125. Tandems, tricycles, motorised cycles & scooters are not carried on any service.

Cycling and Boats
Bikes can be taken onto many of the boat services operating out of Falmouth with an additional £1 on a single on the Place ferry, £2 additional charge on the St Mawes ferry. Paniers need to be removed.
